This is another workout for a harder shot. This workout uses the medicine ball (one of my favourite pieces of equipment for hockey workouts) and is a great finisher. I usually like to do this workout after I have already done a decent core and back set and want to really feel the burn.
For the workout you sit with your feet on the ground (I find you get a good burn with you feet off the ground as well) and medicine ball in front of you. Twist to the side and try to touch the Medicine ball to the ground on each side.
This workout strengthens your core, stability and rotational strength and will help all shots.
