This is a good workout for agility and Acceleration. For this drill you should use a reaction ball as it bounces in crazy directions, alternatively you can have your partner throw the ball in different directions and since you should jump at the same time as they are throwing you will not be able to react until you hit the ground.
Have a partner throw a reaction ball in the air, as they are throwing, jump as high as you can. When you land, move as fast as you can to smother the ball. This drill trains your muscles for quick speed and reaction time.
